Winter typically brings thoughts of bleak landscapes and barren trees (at least here in South-Central PA!), but this year I’ve been particularly struck by the depth and richness of the colors, the reflections, the contrast. So as the light is bent by all it encounters and refracts color, we are reminded that even when our surroundings seem lifeless, beauty thrives.
I am part of a group of photographers, Share Six, who blog 6 images on the 6th of each month with unique monthly themes. Next up is the talented Kathy of KG Ledbetter Photography! Join us for this month’s theme by posting your Color images on our Facebook page at Share Six and to our Instagram gallery, by tagging #sharesix and #sharesix_color. A new theme will be posted on March 6th.

These are stunning Liz. Winter colors can be so beautiful even when things look barren and you captured them so well. I love the first image with the beautiful sunflare and the 3rd with it’s rich tones. The 4th image down of the trees is incredible – the blues with the browns is gorgeous. I love your share this month.

Another beautiful share, Liz! Of course I particularly love the ICM, but those purple tones and depth of field of your third image is especially dreamy ❤
